Our client, a leading consulting engineering company, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join their client’s Mission Critical Facilities Advisory Group in Johannesburg, Cape Town, or Umhlang. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary building projects, particularly within the data center and industrial building sectors.

Requirements:

·       Degree in Project Management/Built Environment. Postgraduate qualification in Project Management will be advantageous.

·       8+ years of postgraduate experience managing multi-disciplinary building projects as consultant. (Preferably in Private Sector)

·       Professional registration with either of the following: SACPCMP / PMI / ECSA / PrArch / PrQS

·       Experience in multidisciplinary design coordination – preferably on data center/ industrial building projects.

·       Experience in greenfield and brownfield data center/industrial building projects.

·       Advanced proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Common Data Environments (ACC, ASITE, Revizto, etc.)

Responsibilities:

·       Managing complex building projects from inception to completion, managing project budgets and financial responsibilities.

·       Ensuring successful project execution by meeting stakeholder expectations, maintaining commercial excellence and achieving quality outputs.

·       Contribute to the strategic growth of the Data Centre AG PM Team and to the skills development of the PM Team in South Africa.

·       Negotiate and conclude new assignments, lead project tendering and preparation.

·       Develop, review, and execute project contract documents.
