Job Description:
My client is after a talented Business Analyst to join their Cape Town crew, turning client needs into game-changing business solutions. You’ll dig into project goals, model and validate requirements, and craft detailed specs like BRDs, process analyses, and gap reports. Working closely with clients, you’ll spot improvement opportunities, gather critical insights, and ensure everyone’s on the same page. Expect to join solution design, define test cases, support user acceptance testing, and flag risks early. With your retail and investment management know-how, you’ll communicate plans clearly, manage deliverables solo or with a team, and juggle multiple tasks—all while keeping stakeholders happy and deadlines met!
 
Skills & Experience:
5-8 years as a Business Analyst in financial services—asset management and front office experience is a must!
Solid grasp of investment management ops (front, middle, back office)—retail experience is key
Ace at running workshops, engaging clients, and documenting requirements
Detail-obsessed, solution-driven, and full of initiative
Stellar communication skills for all levels, plus the ability to multitask under pressure
Passionate, proactive, and creative—ready to think big and deliver fast

Qualification:
Relevant tertiary qualification or Business Analysis Certificate/Diploma (e.g., FTI or GetSmarter) is a plus
BA qualification preferred but not essential if you’ve got the experience
Non-negotiable: 5+ years in asset management/transfer agency within financial services
