Our client is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join their prestigious luxury hotel and lodge group. This role requires a detail-oriented and self-driven individual who can manage all financial functions of the properties, ensuring efficient and profitable operations while maintaining financial controls.

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with Finance Managers, Operations Managers, and General Managers to create budgets and set objectives for efficient operations.
• Review and report on the financial accounts of each property, identifying any anomalies.
• Manage the year-end audit for the properties.
• Prepare monthly and weekly financial packs, reports, and variance reports.
• Highlight any discrepancies, overspends, or changes in strategy.
• Ensure adherence to financial manuals, policies, and procedures.
• Provide leadership and training to the accounting staff to improve skills and promote job satisfaction.
• Oversee the administration of personnel files, payroll, medical aid, provident fund, and statutory compliance.
