Our client in Wadeville, East Rand is looking for a CNC Machinist with milling experience to join their team.

Location: Wadeville, Germiston

Job purpose: To machine parts an products from raw materials with the specified drawings and indicators for the use in machines and equipment in the mining and engineering sector. (Machine shop) generalist to operate (Programme) different machine types.

Key Responisbilities:

Writing programs and interpreting drawings and procedures to manufacture parts accurately.

Getting information from all relevant sources.

Controlling machines and processes.

Performing inspections of equipment, structures, materials and products.

Analysing information and finding the best solutions to problems.

Maintaining clear and honest communication at all times.

Keeping the work environment safe.

Learning and applying the latest relevant knowledge to the work.

Adhering to all work-site safety rules and regulations.

Key performance Measure:

Deliver precision engineerd parts for store as specified.
Programme optimally
Fit tool bits and maintain machined - report any defect to manager
Know the different machines to operate and maintaina s prescribes

Candidate Requirements

Competencies required:

CNC educated
Knowledge of CNC operational manuals and instrustions
Knowledge of programming different machines.
Preferably 3 years or more experience in the mechanical engineering industry

Technical Competancies:

Programming
Machine maintenance
Drawing interpretation

Behavioural Competancies:

Interacts with stakeholders

Compliance to regulations - health and safety
