Seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a three-year construction project focused on building RDP houses and clinics in Chintsa, Eastern Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, ensuring timely completion, compliance with regulations, and adherence to quality standards. Candidates that meet all requirements and are available to start by no later than 20 March 2025 are invited to apply

Minimum Requirements:
Relevant qualification in the Built Environment (Engineering, Architecture, Planning, or related field).
Minimum of 8 years of experience managing human settlement building or infrastructure projects.
Professional Registration (One or more of the following is required):
o SACPLAN – Registered as a Planner or Technical Planner.
o SACAP – Registered as a Professional Architect, Senior Architectural Technologist, or Architectural Technologist.
o SACPCMP – Registered as a Professional Engineer or Engineering Technologist.
Proven experience in large-scale construction project management.
Strong understanding of construction regulations, compliance, and quality control.
Ability to manage budgets, timelines, contractors, and stakeholders effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of RDP housing and clinic construction projects.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Manage and coordinate teams, including contractors, engineers, and construction professionals.
Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to health and safety standards.
Monitor project progress, risk management, and quality control.
Liaise with government departments, local authorities, and key stakeholders.
Prepare and present project reports, budgets, and updates to relevant stakeholders.
Address any challenges, delays, or technical issues that arise during construction.
