Our client, a leading software development company based in Century City, Cape Town, specializing in web-based international supply chain and customs applications, is looking for a passionate and eager Junior C# Developer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is motivated to learn, grow, and contribute to real-world projects, all while receiving mentorship and support in their professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with experienced Developers to build and improve web-based applications
Contribute to the development of cutting-edge supply chain and customs solutions
Gain hands-on experience working with modern technologies in real-world scenarios
Continuously develop technical skills and enhance coding abilities

Primary Requirements:

1-2 years of experience with .NET framework or .Net Core, C#, Web APIs, and JSON
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiarity with MS SQL and Transact SQL
Exposure to Angular 2+ (or willingness to learn)
Strong problem-solving skills
Tertiary qualification (National Diploma, Degree, or equivalent)
Passion for software development, particularly in supply chain, logistics, or ERP applications
Basic knowledge of version control tools such as SVN or Azure DevOps

Advantageous (Secondary) Requirements:

Exposure to Microsoft Azure platform
Familiarity with web services, SOAP, and RESTful APIs
Basic knowledge of security practices like OAuth and JWT
Experience with Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum
Familiarity with Angular.js
