We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven In-House Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in Pretoria East immediately.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing marketing strategies to drive traffic, increase brand awareness, and achieve business objectives.
This is a full-time, in-house position where you will work directly with the internal team to oversee and manage all digital marketing efforts, including website maintenance, SEO, social media management, Google & Meta Ads, content creation, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:
Create and execute detailed digital marketing plans and campaigns that align with business objectives. Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of these strategies to ensure ongoing success.
- Google & Meta Ads Management:
Plan, manage, and execute Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns. Ensure all campaigns target the right audience and meet our marketing goals. Regularly assess ad performance and adjust to maximize results.
- Social Media Management:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Manage content creation, posting schedules, and community engagement to increase brand visibility and user interaction.
- Website Maintenance & Optimization (WordPress):
Independently manage and maintain the current website. Ensure that the website is always up to date, user-friendly, mobile-responsive, and aligned with the company’s branding and marketing objectives. Make necessary updates, optimize performance, and implement improvements as needed to keep the website running smoothly and effectively supporting marketing efforts.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
onduct thorough keyword research and optimize both on-page and off-page SEO strategies. Use tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush to drive organic traffic to the website and improve search engine rankings.
- Graphic Design:
Independently create basic graphic designs for digital marketing campaigns. This includes designing assets for web pages, social media posts, banners, email campaigns, and other digital marketing materials. Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar is essential.
- Content Creation & Article Writing:
Write engaging and SEO-friendly articles, blogs, and other content to support marketing campaigns, improve SEO rankings, and increase website traffic. Ensure that all written content aligns with the company’s tone, brand voice, and marketing objectives.
- JavaScript Knowledge (Advantageous):
Work with developers to implement custom solutions or make minor adjustments in JavaScript, particularly for enhancing our in-house paperless platform and marketing tools.
- Reporting and Analysis:
Track, analyze, and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimization and business growth.
- On-Call Support:
Be on marketing phone standby every second week to assist with urgent marketing needs or troubleshooting.
Required Skills
- Google Ads And Meta Ads Certifications Are Essential : 2 to 3 years
- Google Analytics Certification Is A Plus: 2 to 3 years
- Proficiency In Website Maintenance And Development, Particularly Using Wordpress : 2 to 3 years
- Experience In Social Media Management And Online Advertising: 2 to 3 years
- Strong Understanding Of SEO Strategies And Tools: 2 to 3 years
- Ability To Create Basic Graphic Designs Independently: 2 to 3 years
- Strong Writing Skills For Article Creation, Blog Posts, And Other Written Content: 2 to 3 years
- Knowledge Of Javascript Encoding (Advantageous But Not Mandatory): 2 to 3 years
- Fluency In Both Afrikaans (Home Language) And English Is Required: 10 years or more
