Responsible for repairing diesel engines and all the components that help to make the engines operate efficiently on earth moving equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis inspections to determine cause of failure on components.
• Execute various diagnostic tests and inspections to identify component and machine defects.
• Correct vehicle (Defects) by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing impaired parts according to OEM and company procedure.
• Troubleshoot, identify and repair hydraulic and mechanical defects/breakdowns.
• Conduct primary maintenance according to OEM and company procedures.
• Ensure oil samples are filled in correctly and submitted to planning department after service has been completed.
• Ensure the continuous upkeep of preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure strict adherence to PPE, and occupational safety policies and procedures of the company.
• Collect work orders daily and complete job cards for every completed task.
• Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks on earthmoving equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
• Replace faulty parts as needed
• Ensure efficient operation of machinery to minimize downtime
• Monitor and improve G.E.T on earth moving equipment
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
