Our client is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join their team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, providing technical consultation, and developing customized access control and security solutions for clients. This role requires a strong sales background, technical expertise, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in parking and access control solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, including property managers, security firms, and facility managers.
• Provide technical consultation, product demonstrations, and solution recommendations.
• Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and tenders.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients.
• Coordinate with installation teams to ensure successful project implementation.
• Provide ongoing client support, troubleshooting, and training.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in technical sales or business development.
• Strong understanding of access control, parking management, and security systems.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to assess client needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
• Self-motivated and target-driven.
• Experience in security and access control, including CCTV, biometric access, boom gates, and turnstiles.
• Experience in parking management systems such as automated barriers, ticketing, and revenue parking solutions.
• Knowledge of electronic security and automation, including intercoms, surveillance, and smart access technologies.
  
• Experience in technical or engineering sales, particularly in hardware or software solutions.

• Salary: negotiable.
