Senior Financial Accountant – Waterfall, JohannesburgA financial services company is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to manage finances for the Life & Invest platform within its wealth division. The role requires full accounting function expertise up to financial statement level, working within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily financial processing, reporting, and accounting functions.
• Manage year-end financial close and audit preparations.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting aligned with strategic goals.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain internal financial controls.
• Optimize cash and investment management to maximize returns.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve financial systems.
• Oversee tax compliance, including preparation and submission of tax returns.

Minimum Requirements:

• CA (SA) qualification.
• 5 years’ financial services experience, preferably with life insurance and tax expertise.
