Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:
  • Lead and inspire teams to achieve a high-performance culture.
  • Utilize data-driven decision-making to manage performance effectively.
  • Develop and implement forward-thinking business strategies.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners, suppliers, and customers.
• Customer Focus:
  • Prioritize customer retention and satisfaction through strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee sales and marketing strategies to drive new business growth.
• Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Optimize profitability by developing competitive service offerings.
• Financial Management:
  • Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Implement effective risk management strategies and ensure ROI on investments.
• Technology & Innovation:
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational capabilities.
  • Identify and capitalize on strategic growth opportunities.
• HR & Compliance:
  • Manage staffing, performance, and B-BBEE compliance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification is essential.
• MBA or equivalent advanced Degree is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 15+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong operations experience in the Freight Forwarding/Supply Chain space is essential 
• At least 8+ years in a senior management role at an Executive Committee (Exco) level.
• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related industry, is non-negotiable
