Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare year-end statutory accounts for UK-based limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns.
• Handle daily bookkeeping and prepare/submit monthly and quarterly VAT returns under UK VAT schemes.
• Prepare high-quality management accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Liaise with UK clients to resolve queries and provide exceptional service.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior team members.
• Support Partners with ad hoc accounting and compliance tasks as required.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance (CA qualification not required).
• Proven experience working with UK-based clients or within UK accounting practices.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience with accounting software such as CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Alphatax (preferred but not essential).
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, both remotely and in person.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• A proactive team player with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
