With a commitment to innovation and operational excellence, they are seeking a skilled and proactive Buyer to manage sourcing and procurement from China.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery while contributing to the company’s growth in the dynamic e-commerce space.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with reliable suppliers in China to source a wide range of products.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure the best deals for the business.
- Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality and company standards.
Procurement Operations:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including order placement, shipment tracking, and delivery coordination.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands and avoid overstocking.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of products to maintain a competitive edge.
Product Quality & Compliance:
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Address and resolve any quality or supply chain issues promptly.
Communication & Reporting:
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams, ensuring clear and efficient communication.
- Prepare and present regular procurement reports, including cost analyses and supplier performance evaluations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Stay updated on e-commerce industry trends and recommend new product opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a procurement or buying role, preferably with exposure to sourcing from China.
Languages: Proficiency in English is required; the ability to speak Mandarin is highly advantageous.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of procurement tools and e-commerce platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Soft Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Adaptable and able to manage multiple products in a fast-paced environment.
