Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze credit risk data and develop quantitative models to assess the creditworthiness of individuals, institutions, and portfolios.
• Design, test, and implement credit risk models that provide insights into default probabilities, loss given default, and other risk parameters.
• Use advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to improve the accuracy of credit risk assessments.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance credit risk strategies and optimize decision-making processes.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and actionable manner.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in credit risk, financial modeling, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
• Strong experience in quantitative analysis, particularly in credit risk modeling.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
• Solid understanding of credit risk metrics, financial products, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with machine learning or other advanced analytics techniques is highly desirable.
