Quality Controller

Are you passionate about quality assurance and ensuring products meet the highest standards? CTS Trailers is looking for an energetic and motivated person to be part of their team situated in Bellville Stikland, Industrial.  The ideal candidate has extensive experience as a quality controller in a manufacturing, automobile and/or services and repair environment.

 Key task and responsibilities:

• Leading the quality control team and ensuring that output targets are achieved.
• Engagement with engineering and workshop teams to ensure quality adherence.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections of trucks and trailers during various stages of production and maintenance.
• Verify compliance with industry standards, company specifications, and safety regulations.
• Compilation of ISO documentation as required.
• Perform visual and technical inspections of components, welding, assemblies, and finishes.
• Identify and document defects, deviations, or non-conformities and communicate them to relevant teams.
• Implementation of quality rectification measures.
• Collaborate with production and repair teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Attend and fully participate in matters pertaining to quality control in the production meetings.
• Provide feedback on quality inspections to the production manager.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and reports for quality assurance purposes.
• Conduct final checks before trucks and trailers are released to clients.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines throughout the inspection process.
