Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, mechanical systems, and electrical systems within the facility.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, including motors, drives, control systems, and other industrial machinery.
• Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) tasks to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine checks and inspections on electrical installations, systems, and machinery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Complete wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including control panels, circuit breakers, and motor control systems.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare and submit Certificates of Compliance (COCs) for electrical installations and repairs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, including work performed, parts used, and any issues or discrepancies.
• Ensure proper documentation of all electrical work, including installation diagrams, circuit diagrams, and maintenance records.
• Support the training and mentoring of junior maintenance staff and apprentices.
• Participate in emergency breakdowns and repairs, often after-hours, as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and environmental standards.
• Work closely with other team members, contractors, and supervisors to meet production and maintenance goals.
