Are you a Chartered Accountant with a passion for quality assurance and regulatory compliance? Do you have experience in IFRS 17 reporting and solvency management within the financial or short-term insurance sector? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Finance Department. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of financial operations, with a strong focus on IFRS 17 implementation and Solvency Management Assessment. The ideal candidate will have an audit background and a keen eye for process improvement.
IFRS 17 Implementation – Oversee compliance, collaborate with finance and actuarial teams, and ensure accurate reporting.
Solvency Management – Monitor financial stability, integrate risk management principles, and support regulatory compliance.
Process Improvement – Identify gaps, recommend enhancements, and drive best practices in financial reporting.
Team Leadership – Mentor and manage a team of Accountants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Reporting – Work closely with underwriting, claims, and compliance teams, prepare reports for senior management, and liaise with external auditors.
CA (SA) qualification is essential.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an audit environment (Assistant Manager or similar), ideally within the short-term insurance sector.
Strong knowledge of IFRS 17 and Solvency Management Assessment frameworks.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to drive process improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
