We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Claims Consultant with expertise in both commercial and personal lines of short term insurance. The ideal candidate will have a Short Term Insurance Certificate and a proven track record of successfully managing and resolving claims in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee claims for both commercial and personal lines of short term insurance
- Investigate claims to determine coverage and liability
- Communicate with policyholders, claimants, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and documentation
- Analyze and evaluate claim information to make informed decisions on coverage and settlement amounts
- Negotiate settlements with claimants and service providers
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service to policyholders throughout the claims process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date claims files and documentation
- Collaborate with other team members and departments as needed to resolve complex claims

Qualifications:

- Short Term Insurance Certificate and completed RE
- Proven experience in managing commercial and personal lines claims in a short term Brokerage
- Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to make informed decisions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
