- Support the legal and compliance team with a variety of tasks, including legal research, drafting reports, and reviewing contracts or policies.
- Assist in the implementation of compliance programs and initiatives within the organization.
- Participate in regular training sessions to develop technical and professional knowledge of legal and compliance procedures.
- Maintain legal and compliance documentation and records.
- Monitor and track regulatory changes and assist in ensuring the company adheres to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide general administrative support to the legal and compliance team as needed.
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and/or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
- Strong academic background with a keen interest in legal, risk, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Well-spoken and professional, with the ability to represent the company in various business interactions globally.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates a keen interest in legal and compliance fields.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.) is preferred and would be considered an advantage.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes and systems.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Strong ethical values and a commitment to upholding company standards.

- Probation period of 3 months, subject to successful completion of training sessions and assessments.

Entry-level Compliance Officer
Overview:
Our client is currently seeking a motivated and adaptable individual with a BCom and/or LL.B degree to join their dynamic and global organization. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to embark on a career in legal and compliance, working in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training to build the necessary skills for success in this role. Completion of training sessions is required to pass the probationary period and secure continued employment.
