A well established company based in Allens Nek is seeking a Junior Accountant.

Duties:

• 
   Manage all accounting activities up to and including the preparation of financial statements.
• maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely posting of all financial transactions.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts
• tax compliance, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory obligations
• ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages.
• Ensure accurate calculation and submission of UIF contributions.
• PAYE compliance, including accurate calculation and timely submission of employee tax.
• Ensure compliance with WCC requirements, including accurate reporting and contribution submissions.
  
  
  
  **Qualifications and Experience:**
  - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  - Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA) preferred.
  - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and payroll management.
  - Strong knowledge of IFRS, payroll systems, and South African tax laws.
  - Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
  - Proficient in accounting and payroll software.
