A well establish investment firm based in Newlands is seeking a Client Portfolio Manager / Financial Planner.
Duties:
• Work as part of a professional team i
• Meet with prospective clients (virtually via Zoom/Teams or in person at our offices)
• Follow an established onboarding process to bring on new clients
• Advise existing and prospective clients on their investment portfolios
• Advise clients on offshore investing
• Assist clients with tax planning, estate planning and wills
• Prepare and conduct investment reviews for clients
• Continuously learn about markets, tax regulations and different investment vehicles
• Handle client queries
• Keep records of new and existingclients
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years working experience as a financial planner
• Be fluent (speech and writing) in English and Afrikaans
• Relevant degree (Bcom/BusSci/Hons preferable)
• Must have passed the RE5 regulatory exam
• Applicants with the Certified Financial Planner CFP® qualification (or studying towards the qualification) will be preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have the ability to manage time effectively
• Have an aptitude for continued learning
• Must be experience from the industry
Computer Literacy:
- MS Office (Outlook, Excel)
- Adobe PDF
- Will be training on inhouse system
