Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Accountant / Bookkeeper for our client, a leading innovation-driven industrial and packaging solutions company with a global presence. Responsibilities

Finance Duties:

• Maintain complete and accurate financial records up to Trial Balance
• General ledger and lead sheet maintenance
• Accounts Receivable & Customer ledger processing and reconciliations
• Accounts Payable & Supplier ledger processing and reconciliations
• Bank and payment preparation and reconciliations
• Credit card statements and expense claim reconciliations
• Process monthly journals and adjustments
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register
• Assist with month-end and year-end processes, journals, and reconciliations
• Manage inventory control systems and processes

Other Duties:

• Customer liaison for spares orders
• Quotations, orders, invoices, stock preparation, and distribution
• Plan and oversee stock takes
• Visa and travel planning and control
• Back-office support and ad hoc administrative duties
• General office orders (refreshments, canteen, and stationery)

Requirements

• ±5 to 10 years of experience as a Bookkeeper
• Matric Certificate
• Relevant Diploma/Certificate in Bookkeeping/Finance (Degree preferred)
• Manufacturing industry experience required
• Inter-company experience required
• Experience working with international companies required
• Proven experience with SAGE Evolution Accounting Package
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Tenacity and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Experience in a multinational environment (advantageous)
• English as a first language (advantageous)
• Must have own transport
