A leading engineering company is seeking a dynamic and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This is your chance to be involved in exciting projects, from designing and optimizing mechanical systems to on-site commissioning and problem-solving in high-impact environments. Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Design:
- Develop innovative mechanical solutions from first principles
- Improve and optimize existing products through value engineering
- Conduct design validation and FEA analysis
- Oversee drawing pack compilation and approvals
- Create Bill of Materials (BOM) via ERP systems
- Specify third-party equipment
- Conduct on-site research and testing in collaboration with technical teams
Projects & Commissioning:
- Manage project-specific engineering deliverables
- Provide on-site commissioning support for equipment
Documentation & Change Management:
- Oversee the development of client manuals and illustrated parts catalogs
- Compile technical reports, memos, and specifications
- Manage engineering changes and non-conformances

Minimum Requirements:

Qualification: BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid understanding of manufacturing methods and materials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor (preferred)
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Experience with crushing equipment (cone crushers, jaw crushers, and ball mills) is advantageous
- Previous mine site experience beneficial
- Valid driver’s license & own transport
- Valid passport
- Ability to pass a standard mine medical assessment
