Our dynamic client is seeking a Tax Manager to lead and manage tax planning, compliance, and reporting for their operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing relationships with tax authorities, providing expert insights into cross-border tax issues, and ensuring compliance with both local and international tax regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong international tax background to contribute to strategic decision-making within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage international tax filings, ensuring compliance with local and global regulations.
• Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation, including master file and CBC reporting.
• Support CFC provision calculations and ensure adherence to South African tax laws.
• Advise on cross-border transactions, double tax treaties, and tax-efficient structures.
• Prepare Pillar 2 tax computations and reporting in line with global tax standards.
• Provide training on corporate and international tax matters to internal teams.
• Assist with income tax calculations for interim and year-end reporting.
• Liaise with Auditors and Legal Advisors on complex tax matters to ensure compliance.

 
Qualifications & Experience:

• CA(SA) or SAIT accreditation, or a BCom in Accounting is preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in tax, with a focus on international tax and corporate compliance, ideally within Financial Services or a global organisation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with tax authorities and internal teams.
• High academic achievers, Golden Key, or those with Cum Laude academic achievements, are encouraged to apply.
