An exciting opportunity within an Accounting Practice just opened for an Accountant who completed their SAICA Articles with 2 years post article experience.

This is the ideal position for someone who no longer wants to become a CA and is registered as an AGA(SA).

Education

• Completed CTA/PDGA

Work history

• Approximately 2-years post article experience, of which at least one in a position where they had to manage junior staff
• Completed SAICA articles in a smaller audit firm

Personal qualities

• Mature individual who can think outside of the box
• Ability to solve issues and make things work
• Energy and drive to succeed
• Excellent English language skills, both written and oral

Job requirements

• Reports to director of firm who is also in charge of audit department
• Proven ability in the field of accounting & auditing
• Ability to stick to budgets and deadlines, as well as courteously deal with clients
• Skills to manage and take over clients from day one
• Final responsibility for quality control and juniors

Other

• Own car to use for work purposes, e.g. client meetings
• Firm covers professional fees with SAICA
