A Software Development Company based in Centurion is looking for a Mobile Developer with 2+ years of relevant practical work experience to join its team.
The ideal candidate must have experience with Flutter and Dart for cross-platform development, and a passion for emerging technologies, particularly AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Experience with payment systems (ISO 8583, ISO20022, EMV), enterprise systems integration (EMS/Oracle), and POS system integration is advantageous.
This is a permanent in-house position with a hybrid working model (2 days a week office work)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter
- Create and maintain robust integration solutions
- Build scalable Android applications
- Work on enterprise software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively within sprint cycles
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:
- B.Eng Engineering or B.Sc IT/Computer Science degree OR proven track record of exceptional project achievements in software development
- A passion for emerging technologies, particularly AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks
- Strong experience with Flutter and Dart for cross-platform development
- Proficiency in native Android development using Kotlin and Java
- Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Knowledge of C++ for system integration
- Understanding of secure coding practices
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in fast-paced sprints
- Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule
Nice to Have / Advantageous:
- Experience with payment systems (ISO 8583, ISO20022, EMV)
- Background in enterprise systems integration (EMS/Oracle)
- Experience with POS system integration
- Knowledge of middleware development
- Understanding of hardware security modules (HSM)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and real-time systems
