Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAIPA Article Clerk to join their dynamic accounting firm in Sandton. This role is designed for candidates pursuing a career in accounting and seeking to complete their SAIPA articles. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in financial reporting, taxation, and auditing while working under the supervision of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and other accounting standards.

• Process and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Assist with tax computations, VAT submissions, and payroll processing.

• Conduct audits and prepare supporting documentation.

• Perform general bookkeeping duties and maintain accurate financial records.

• Liaise with clients regarding financial matters and provide professional assistance.

• Stay updated on relevant accounting and tax legislation.

• Assist senior accountants with ad hoc financial tasks and projects.

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed or final-year Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (SAIPA-accredited).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, CaseWare, or Xero) is advantageous.

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be willing to commit to a three-year SAIPA training contract.
