We’re Hiring: Operations Manager / Assistant Operations Manager – Montreal Coffee + Bagels.

Are you a hands-on operations leader with a passion for efficiency, customer service, and business growth? Montreal Coffee + Bagels is looking for an Operations Manager or Assistant Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations, drive performance, and ensure that every location runs at peak efficiency. All 3 of our stores are based in the Western Cape and we're expanding rapidly! Come be apart of the newest and most exciting Coffee & Bagel venture!

What You’ll Do:

Support and oversee store operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
Conduct store audits, stock checks, and performance reviews to maintain high standards.
Work closely with store managers to drive sales, manage teams, and improve store efficiency.
Oversee stock control, supplier coordination, and inventory optimization.
Ensure excellent customer service and brand experience across all stores.
Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and operational strategy.

Candidate Requirements

What You’ll Need:

3+ years of experience in store or operations management (Retail, QSR, or Hospitality preferred).
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and customer service best practices.
Ability to analyze store performance, conduct audits, and implement improvements.
Hands-on approach – ready to work closely with teams to enhance operations.
Willingness to travel between store locations (valid driver’s license required).
