We are seeking a skilled and experienced Conveyancing Paralegal (Transfers) to join our team at a property law firm in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Developments and Transfers, including Conventional, Sectional, Estate, Subdivisions, and Consolidations.

- Conveyancing Secretary: 5 to 6 years
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience at a law firm as a conveyancing secretary specialising in property law, with specific expertise in Developments and Transfers.
- Formal training in conveyancing and property transfers (diploma) is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage files independently from inception to finalisation, including drafting transfer documents, requesting guarantees, applying for rates clearance certificates, transfer duty receipts and liaising with Clients, Attorneys, Banks and Deeds Office.
- Experience in drafting conveyancing documentation in township development is a plus.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Legal Suite, and SARS e-filing.
- Excellent typing skills (speed and accuracy).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Professional telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under the direction of Conveyancers.
- Clear criminal record is required.
