My client, a key player in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a Buyer/Planner to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in international procurement, controlled substances, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the procurement and planning of pharmaceutical finished goods, ensuring optimal stock levels and supply chain efficiency.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers while ensuring compliance with global trade regulations.
Oversee purchasing activities for controlled substances, adhering to strict regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, analyze inventory trends, and optimize supply chain processes.
Monitor supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and resolve supply chain disruptions effectively.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation for procurement, including purchase orders, supplier agreements, and compliance records.
Work closely with logistics and regulatory teams to ensure seamless import processes.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
CIPS qualification will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Buyer/Planner role within the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience handling international suppliers and finished goods in a global supply chain.
Exposure to controlled substances procurement and regulatory compliance.
Solid understanding of inventory management practices and ERP systems.

Reporting Line: This role reports to the Head of Supply Chain & Procurement.
