Duties:

You will be required to perform the following primary duties :

·         Full accounting function up to Trial Balance;

·         Debtors and Creditors reconciliation;

·         Upload of payments to Bank;

·         Cash book management and review;

·         Payroll calculations and processing;

·         Reconciliation of general ledger accounts on a monthly basis;

·         Statutory returns (EMP501/EMP201/VAT201)                            (preparation and submission);

·         Rental calculations and monthly tenant billing;

·         Interaction with managers at branch level.

Competencies:

·         Computer Literate MS Office (Excel (intermediate))

·         Accounting Packages (Pastel Accounting and Payroll)

·         SARS e-filing experience

·         Should be able to work independently and in a team environment

·         Responsible (organise/analyse/prioritise)

·         Prides themselves on a strong work ethic

·         Not a clock watcher and deadline driven

·         Perform under pressure

·         Accurate and meticulous

·         Resilient

Minimum requirements:

·         Relevant tertiary education in accounting (a suitable degree/diploma)

·         Solid verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans

·         Valid driver’s licence and own transport

·         Must reside in the Northern Suburbs
