An exciting opportunity has arisen at a leading packaging company in Cape Town. Our client has a position open for an Junior Engineer. You will be responsible for providing technical support to production and supporting engineering projects and processes to ensure the manufacturing of quality products

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Matric
10 years in plastics industry
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field.
2-5 years relevant experience
Sound understanding of drawings.
Fundamentals of fault finding and equipment testing.
Sound knowledge on H&S and safe working procedures.
Technical knowledge of process, inclusive of equipment, raw materials, moulds, downstream equipment, run in department.
Relevant quality system and certification as required.
