Our client is urgently looking for a Junior Paraplanner to assist various Financial Advisors with their administration. 

Main role: supporting financial advisers with various tasks related to financial planning and clients.

Knowledge required: basic financial planning concepts, investment and risk product knowledge (e.g. unit trusts, endowments, retirement annuities, life policies etc), basic tax and estate planning concepts, basic investment portfolio understanding (risk/return etc)

Key responsibilities:

• Investment Research: Dealing with product providers / third parties to conduct research on financial products in a clients portfolio such as unit trusts, retirement funds etc.
• Client Communications / Management:

• Collecting and organizing client information.
• Handling client queries via email or phone including requests for additional investments, withdrawals, tax information etc.
• Maintaining and updating client records on the CRM (knowledge of Elite Wealth a bonus)
• Ensuring compliance with FICA and internal processes.
• Assisting with scheduling client meetings and follow-ups.
• New client onboarding and assisting with the completion of required documentation and processing applications with product providers
• Organizing and filing client files and documentation, both physically and digitally.

• Financial Plan Preparation:

• Assisting with the preparation of financial plans/proposals including retirement projections, investment strategies, risk assessments etc.
• Calculations and analysis of clients goals, retirement needs, future cashflow projections etc. using financial planning software / tools.
• Conducting research to support financial recommendations where necessary.

Requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a good understanding of financial concepts. A crucial supporting role in the financial planning process.
