 Finance clerk

Organize and Process Financial Transactions:

Cashbook processing

Bank reconciliations

Processing card transactions

Follow up on outstanding card slips with card holders

Follow up on proforma/quote payments with suppliers

Manage Accounts Payable:

Creating payment vouchers

Capturing of supplier, municipal and contractors’ invoices

Pay and file invoices and track the status of each account

Track all accounts payable information with detailed balance sheets

Prepare Month-End Reports:

Reconcile general ledger transactions

Analyse data and prepare reports to present information to accountants or other professionals within the organization

Maintain Financial Filing Systems:

Financial organization through well-maintained financial filing systems

Ensure regular scanning and filing of all financial information/documentation

Assist with Clerical and Administrative Tasks:

When not performing job-specific tasks assist financial department with any admin duties

Any reasonable financial/accounting task required from time to time from the financial manager / head of finance
