We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Line Operator. The Line Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment on the manufacturing line, while ensuring that all products are manufactured according to quality standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate production equipment on the manufacturing line in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Monitor the production process to ensure that products are manufactured according to quality standards.
3. Perform quality control checks on products to identify and rectify any defects.
4. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
5. Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistent production results.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
7. Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate production activities.
8. Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
9. Complete production reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
5. Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
6. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
7. Ability to lift and carry and stand for long periods of time.
8. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

The successful incumbent must:

Be computer literate. Must have managed a pack line or similar production.

Be in possession of a valid driver's license

Implement and control production schedule.
Ensure flow of line equipment to push out 12000 pieces packed per packer.
Ensure Bin intake, QC and culling factors are analysed efficiently.
Handle all functions related to the "Sizer", pack line and other maintenance that is required.

Ensure that accurate data is captured in the packhouse tracking system.
