Primary Details:
- Fully Remote.
- Would be working 08:00 - 17:00 PST.
- Renumeration: R25 000 - R30 000 per month depending on experience.
Key Requirements:
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
- Knowledge of network protocols and configurations.
- Ability to provide support and guidance to L1 Technicians.
- Expertise in at least one specific area of IT (e.g., networking, security, database management).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with very little need for direction and guidance from triage to final solution.
Candidate Requirements
Preferred Competencies (Not all are required but would be a huge bonus):
- ConnectWise Manage (aka. CW PSA).
- ConnectWise Automate.
- Backup Solutions (Datto BDR and Synology Products).
- SonicWall Firewalls.
- Experience supporting PBX systems.
- Currently, we support: Panasonic, 3CX, Zultys, among other hosted solutions.
- Experience supporting camera systems.
Any successful hire, would need to be part of our on-call rotation, which is in 4-week stints:
- Week 1 & 2: Secondary Technical On Call
- Week 3 & 4: Primary Technical On Call
- Weeks X – X: Off Call (the exact time depends on how many people are in the rotation at any given time).
