QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A relevant degree will be beneficial
- 10+ years' experience in a similar role, exposure to all facility management disciplines will be advantageous
- Asset management – Prior experience in a manufacturing industry / facility management will be beneficial
- Project Management – Proven track record of engineering, maintenance, assets life cycles projects
- Operation Performance - Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) optimisation
- Risk Management – Identify possible risks and implement mitigation strategies (PPM)
- Technical experience – Understand various maintenance methodologies and industry best standards
- Administration - Compiling SOP’s and reporting structures
Maintenance Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for property maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Oversee the daily operations of the company’s properties, including maintenance, repairs and renovations
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure all facilities are in optimal condition
- Manage and supervise maintenance staff, contractors and vendors to ensure timely and quality work
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address any issues or potential hazards
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
- Coordinate with other departments to support their facility needs and requirements
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and asset inventories
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and ensure prompt resolution of issues
- Develop and implement strategies for improving the efficiency and sustainability of facilities
- Ensure company compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular health and safety audits and risk assessments
- Ensure all staff are trained in health and safety protocols
- Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize the use and value of the company's assets
- Maintain an accurate asset register and ensure all assets are properly documented and tracked
- Conduct regular asset audits and assessments to ensure assets are in good condition and properly utilized
- Plan and oversee the acquisition, disposal, and replacement of assets
- Ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures
