Working as a CAD technician, you will be expected to deliver packages of drawings to specific standard with sufficient detail to provide a very clear design intent that will be used by contractors to create their construction drawings. You will have the ability to interpret 2d and 3d thematic concepts into ‘real world’ plans and elevations that can be built as permanent facilities. We expect you to have a reasonable understanding of the design process and be able to use your initiative and creative skills to transform our conceptual designs in to considered technical drawings, with suitable materials and finishes that correctly deliver the desired design intent. Much of our work is based on the characters and ‘worlds’ of well-known IPs and brands and often with organic, fantastical scenery and thematic elements, which we will expect you to be able to translate into coherent technical drawings. We can provide examples of the types of packages we deliver, including the level of detail and information we’d expect to be included.
