Candidate Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance & Repairs

• 1. Assist in performing scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyors, motors, compressors, and HVAC systems.
• 2. Support troubleshooting and basic repairs of mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• 3. Carry out general maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of simple machine components.
• 4. Help maintain refrigeration systems to support product quality.
• 5. Support the repair and servicing of hydraulic and pneumatic systems under supervision.

Safety & Compliance

• 1. Adhere to all safety guidelines and assist in identifying and reporting hazards.
• 2. Ensure all work complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act).
• 3. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities for compliance and audit purposes.

Support & Optimization

• 1. Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment as directed.
• 2. Provide hands-on assistance during equipment operation to support production teams.
• 3. Suggest basic maintenance improvements to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work in cold and wet conditions.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Valid driver’s license (advantageous).
