DIRECT SALES AGENT/OFFICER
The primary purpose of the role
To contribute to the KeyHealth 2030 Growth and retention strategy by growing the existing Direct client base through delivering professional and excellent service to prospective members telephonically and successfully converting leads into activated memberships.

· Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
· Activate members successfully onto the Scheme.

Candidate Requirements
Telephonic Sales
· Deliver service telephonically.
· Reach targets continuously.
· Ensure all communication is handled in line with Scheme rules, protocols, and policies and comply with the Medical Schemes Act.
· Create brand awareness and interest.
· Source new business on a referral basis
· Log all actions on the operational systems.
· Follow-up and follow-through on all leads
· Sell products telephonically. Pitch products and initiate sales with potential customers over the phone. Ask engaging questions. Match client needs with relevant products. Use client relationships to generate repeat sales. Document customer information and payment methods. Keep up to date on sold products and or packages. Answer customer questions about product information.
· Develop leads into active memberships.
Provide product information to potential members.
· Guide members on how to use their medical aid.
· Guide members on benefits per option
· Create Industry understanding amongst members.
Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
· 3.1Constantly analyse the market and obtain input and feedback from clients.
· 3.2Report market trends to management
· 3.3Report changes in client needs to management.
· 3.4Report competitor trends to management
· 3.5Make recommendations for product and process development.
Activate members successfully onto the Scheme
· Ensure applications are completed correctly before submission to the Scheme.
· Transition members from prospective to active
Manage self and work environment
· Log actions on the system
· Ensure completeness of applications
· Follow-up and follow-through on tasks delegated to you by the Administration support.
· Reach set sales targets.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
• Grade 12 with an FSCA-approved qualification as an additional advantage.
• At least 5 years in the financial services environment.
• Computer skills. (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Good communication skills.
• Self-Motivated.
• Goal Orientated.
• Clear voice over the telephone.
• Good interpersonal skills.
