Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Electrical Engineer with a strong background in renewable energy, specifically in commercial & industrial (C&I) projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional with 10+ years of experience to join a dynamic team in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Design, development, and optimization of electrical systems for C&I projects.

·        Technical leadership in the execution of renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

·        Conduct feasibility studies, load analysis, and system modeling to optimize energy solutions.

·        Oversee the integration of solar PV installations.

·        Project management and coordination, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, stakeholders, and clients.

·        Perform site assessments, technical evaluations, and risk analyses to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

·        Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards in all project phases.

Key Requirements:

·        BSc/BEng in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

·        Registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) with ECSA.

·        10+ years’ experience in the electrical engineering field, with a primary focus on solar energy and C&I projects.

·        Extensive knowledge of renewable energy systems, electrical design, and grid integration.

·        Proficiency in power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PVSyst, DigSilent, Helioscope).

·        Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and drive projects to completion.

·        Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

·        Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
