Compassionate and motivated individual  with a financial background is needed  for a GP practice based in the Northern Suburbs. This role requires someone with a good understanding of the medical environment, a dedication to delivering exceptional services and contribute to excellence in a healthcare environment. 

Functions and responsibilities :

 Perform / Render Patient Account Serivces, including but not limited to:

a.                                      Benefit checks

b.                                      Billing

c.                                       Cash and card payment allocations

d.                                      Medical Aid follow-up and payment allocations

e.                                      Corrections

f.                                       Month-end procedures and reports

g.                                      Collection of cash and banking of cash

h.                                      Assistance at reception when needed

Perform / Render Creditor services

a.              Contact with all service providers for services needed e.g. order of stock, equipment services, locum services, IT and program services.

b.              Check invoices

Financial practices and policies

a.       Comply with Practice’s, policies and procedures and all other policies applicable to financial administration as well as operational requirements.   

Render support services:

a.              Stock taking

b.              Alarm duty

c.               Patient enquiries

d.              Doctor enquiries

e.              Laundry services

f.               Medical waste

Remuneration and benefits

All inclusive salary package of R18 500 per month.

Working hours per week

9 hours 30 minutes from Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch breaks.

08:00-12:00 (every 3^rd Saturday on a rotational basis )
