Job Title: Qualified Motor Mechanic

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Motor Mechanic with a red seal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of automotive systems and be able to diagnose, repair, and maintain all types of vehicles and need to write, read and understand manaul quotes. The Motor Mechanic will also be responsible for carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are operating at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Conduct routine maintenance and services on vehicles, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations
- Perform major repairs and overhauls on engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components and gearbox and diff building
- Inspect and test parts for wear and damage, and recommend replacements as needed
- Keep thorough and accurate records of all work completed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of repair jobs
- Stay up to date on the latest automotive technologies and advancements in the industry

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Qaulified Motor Mechanic
- Completion of a formal vocational training program in automotive technology
- Certification as a Qualified Motor Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills

Salary and Benefits:

- Minimum wage R20 000 + Mibco + incentive based on experience and performance
