Join a manufacturing team as a Procurement and Planning Manager in the Western Cape!

The successful candidate will develop and implement efficient strategies for sourcing, demand and supply planning, and inventory control. You’ll oversee purchasing of packaging, raw materials, and finished goods locally and through imports while ensuring optimal stock levels in collaboration with production. Responsibilities include managing imports, customs compliance, and third-party service providers, as well as leading projects to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and meet financial targets. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for people management, leading a high-performance team.

Candidate Requirements

The role requires a degree in Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain, along with proficiency in SAP, Syspro, and advanced Excel skills. The candidate must have 10+ years of experience in Procurement & Planning in the chemical industry, including solid management experience. Strong leadership, hands-on sourcing, customs, and supply chain expertise is essential.
