We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Gauteng.

Role: Construction Quantity Surveyor (Roads Experience)

Industry: Construction/Infrastructure

Level: Mid-Level

Key Requirements:

•           Bachelor's or Honors degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

•           3+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a specific focus on roadworks and infrastructure projects.

•           Solid understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes.

•           Experience in measuring, estimating, and pricing works for road construction projects, including earthworks, pavements, and drainage systems.

•           Proficiency with quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.

•           Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices for road construction.

•           Ability to manage budgets, costs, and resources effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

•           Excellent negotiation and communication skills for interacting with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

•           Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.

•           Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

•           Proactive and able to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.
