Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior SHEQ Officer. The Junior SHEQ Officer will assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of safety, health, environmental, and quality programs within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of SHEQ policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of work areas to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in incident investigation and reporting, and develop corrective action plans as needed.
- Organize and conduct safety meetings and training sessions for employees.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators related to SHEQ performance.
- Assist in maintaining documentation and records related to SHEQ programs.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to SHEQ.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Valid Drivers License & own transport.
- Knowledge of SHEQ regulations and standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Samtrack, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001) are a plus.

Experience:
- Previous experience in a SHEQ role is preferred but not required. Entry-level candidates with a strong interest in SHEQ are encouraged to apply.
