- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all stock movements in the warehouse.
- Monitor stock levels and proactively manage inventory to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability
- Coordinate and manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
- Perform regular cycle counts and full stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure timely ordering of stock based on demand forecasts, sales orders, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure sufficient stock is available for production and customer orders.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing decisions
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to manage stock lead times and deliveries.
- Ensure proper storage of products and materials according to company procedures, safety standards, and best practices.
- Monitor the condition of stock to identify any damaged, expired, or obsolete items.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager to streamline warehouse processes and improve stock handling procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including receipts, dispatches, and adjustments.
- Generate inventory reports for management, highlighting stock levels, discrepancies, and any issues with supply or demand.
- Assist in preparing reports for auditing purposes and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage stock orders, deliveries, and returns.
- Generate reports on stock levels, inventory turnover, and related metrics.
- Use inventory management software to track and update stock levels, ensuring real-time visibility across the organization.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the accuracy and efficiency of stock control processes and systems.
- Work closely with the production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure that inventory levels meet operational requirements.
- Assist in managing customer orders, ensuring the timely and accurate fulfilment of product shipments.
The Stock Controller will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring the efficient and effective management of stock in the warehouse. This role includes overseeing stock movements, coordinating stock replenishment, conducting regular stock audits, and collaborating with various teams to ensure product availability and order fulfilment. The Stock Controller will contribute to enhancing the overall efficiency of the warehouse and supporting the company’s operational goals.

Required Skills
- Manufacturing: 3 to 4 years
- Sage: 3 to 4 years
- Stock Controller: 2 to 3 years
- Microsoft Exell: 2 to 3 years
- Inventory Manager: 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
- + 3 years of experience in inventory management or stock control, preferably in a similar industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAGE).
- Experience in manufacturing industry / FMCG sector and SAGE 300 is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and inventory management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle discrepancies and stock-related issues.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of stock control practices.
