The role of Internal Sales Consultant encompasses the following responsibilities:
- Administer all customer orders from start to completion and take overall responsibility of such orders. Customer orders include orders received over the counter, telephone, email, website or handed over by an External Sales Consultant (ESC).
- Issue quotations and negotiate prices and terms of sale with customers.
- Regular communication with new and existing customers to discuss their needs and to explain how specific products and services can meet their needs as well as regularly provide feedback to the customer on the status of their orders, etc.
- Assist customers select products based on their needs, product specifications and regulations.
- Creating, improving and administering the relationship bonds with new and existing customers.
- Enforcing marketing strategies such as promotions to customers.
- Making customers acquainted with the details of the products and services offered.
- Resolving customer matters / queries as per the instructions received from Management and ensuring that all customer matters are followed through until settled.
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information and ensure provision of exceptional customer service.
Required Skills
- Customer Service: 2 to 3 years

Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12 high school certificate.
- Minimum three contactable, most recent, work related references. Reference provided to be a supervisor / manager.
- Proven work experience within an administration and/or sales role.
- Experience in PPE and/or occupational health and safety industry advantageous.
- Ability to demonstrate alignment with businesses code of ethics and organisational culture.
