Our client in Pretoria, Gauteng is seeking a skilled and experienced Food Service Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum education requirement of Matric, along with at least 2 years of sales experience in the food service or hospitality industry. Established relationships with suppliers in the Gauteng hospitality trade are essential, and hospitality or Chef training is an advantage. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word) is required, as well as reliable, presentable transport, a laptop, and a cell phone. Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills are crucial, and the successful candidate must be able to provide contactable references.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum education requirement: Matric
Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the food service/hospitality industry (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
Established relationships with suppliers in the Gauteng hospitality trade
Hospitality or Chef training is an advantage
Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word
Own reliable and presentable transport
Must have a laptop and cell phone
Contactable references required
Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills

DUTIES:

Call on food service and hospitality customers on a daily basis according to a set route list
Negotiate and implement orders as required by customers
Cold calling to build the established customer base
Completion of daily feedback
Build and maintain relationships with current customers
Achieve predetermined targets and grow sales in designated market
Anything required to promote company and its products and ambitions

HOURS:

Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 16:30
