- 10 year experience in a sewing workshop environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring production is met efficiently and effectively
- Manage a team of sewing machinists and cutters, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to optimize productivity and quality
- Experienced in cutting and sewing able to step in to assist team or advise technically
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards to ensure a safe work environment and consistent product quality
- Collaborate with other departments (printing, sales consultants, management) to streamline processes and address any production challenges.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed to minimize downtime
- Provide stock counts on raw materials and supplies necessary for production, maintaining adequate inventory levels while minimizing waste
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall department performance
- Provide daily feedback, reporting and complete order/invoice documentation
